Its summer, the weather is hot, and the kids (and parents) are bored.
When you check your bank account you see that you have $10.06 to get you through the next 4 days. What is a family to do?
One family favorite tip is to search for local splash pads! A less riskier option to swimming pools, they are gaining popularity. This is an assignment you can pass on to your tween as they learn about search engines. There are a dozen splash pads within a 15 mile radius of my house, ranging from simple water jets to more playful characters.
Another fun free tip?
Find the local parks! Switch up the park and splash pad each weekend to keep things interesting. You’ll get a chance to meet new friends and find a new favorite spot.
